Mawlamyine and Thanbyuzayat Extension ( 3 Days / 2 Nights )

Day 1 Yangon-Mawlamyine

Breakfast at the hotel.
In the early morning, drive to Mawlamyine 299 km ( 10 hrs drive ) from Yangon.
Lunch and dinner at local restaurants.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 Mawlamyine - Thanbyuzayat

Breakfast at the hotel.
Then drive to Thanbyuzayat, 64 km south of Mawlamyine.

Visit en route:

Proceed to "Death Railway"(Siam Railway) which is a locomotive and piece of rail tract commemorating the Burma - Siam Railway. The Allied war cemetery. Mudon's hand weving workshops.

Return to Mawlamyine.
Overnight at Mawlamyine.

Day 3 Mawlamyine - Bago - Yangon

Breakfast at the hotel.
Return to Yangon by coach. Lunch at Kyaikhto.
En route visit Bago, the ancient Mon Capital. Start Bago city tour.

Tour highlights :

Shwethalyaung ( the world's most beautiful reclining Buddha image. ) Wood carving industry.

Drive back to Yangon.
Dinner at local restaurant.
Overnight in Yangon.
